Gianluca Roscioli is the co-founder and CEO of RazorSharp.
During his doctoral studies in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT, he became an expert in the design and fabrication of setups for in-situ scanning electron microscopy experiments, which let him understand why current razors get dull.
Given his entrepreneurial passion, he has been determined to develop a new technology to manufacture razors that could last longer, and that is why he founded The Roscioli Razor Company.
Resourceful and determined, he picked up an old, dismissed rolling mill from the trash and transformed it into the current prototype. Of course, this would have not been possible without the funding received from the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program.
